We offer a variety of camps including Winter, Spring and Summer Break, as well as day camps throughout the school year when schools are closed. Our art camps are perfect for kids ages 6-13 (rising first graders) years old. Each day we will create various types of arts and crafts including a Creative Canvas class! Our primary aim is to introduce the kids to a wide variety of artistic mediums and tools, nurturing their exploration and enabling them to discover their artistic preferences early on.
Full Day(9am-4pm) and Half Day(9am-12pm or 1-4pm) options are available. You must register online using the tabs below.
All campers are required to bring their own nut-free snack as well as a water bottle. Full Day Campers will also need to bring a nut-free lunch. Refrigerator access is available.
If you have any questions, please give us a call (804) 716-5219.

SINGLE DAY CAMPS
When schools are closed, we are open! Offering day camps on days when there is no school.
Our winter break sessions require individual day registration. Unlike summer camp, you must register for each day separately. This process offers more flexibility during the week long break.
Full Day (9am-4pm): $80 Half Day $50 Morning Session: 9am-12pm Afternoon Session: 1-4pm
We are excited to offer 10 week long camp sessions full of fun and creativity this summer.
As always, we will have both full and half day options available. Our summer camp program is a week long session, Monday through Friday with a gallery at the end to show you what we've worked on all week.
Our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program allows adolescents (13-15 years old) to gain camp/work experience under the guidance of our veteran camp counselors. Counselors-in-Training learn valuable leadership skills and how to effectively work with younger children.
CIT’s build self-confidence and learn how to make decisions — both independently and as a team — and how to manage responsibility for themselves and for others. As the Camp Counselors’ right-hand-person, they assist in the day to day operations of the camp program. Most importantly, CIT’s serve as role models for the campers.
But it’s not all work. CITs get to enjoy the same activities they loved as campers too! They will interact with campers, help with activities and serve as leaders in camp spirit and motivation.
CITs are an integral part of our programming, helping to bridge the gap between camper and counselor.
Our CIT Program is designed to provide leadership opportunities that prepare teens to become staff members at the Art Factory or elsewhere, as well as productive members of their community.
The goal of the training program is to develop general skills of leadership that you can use throughout life at school, home and community (not just at camp). It is also an opportunity for former campers to transition from campers to counselor roles.
Why Be a Counselor-In-Training? • Gain behind-the-scenes experience • Establish job and character references • Develop new skills • Challenge yourself in regard to personal growth and expanded self-esteem through leadership opportunities • Gain the ability/skill needed to work with children in a camp setting/community or any youth program • Have fun helping kids • Learn to work as a team
The training received and talents of C.I.Ts are put into action. Being a counselor-in-training is an important role at camp, in which leadership skills, good character, integrity, patience, and self-control are nurtured and developed. If you are accepted into the counselor-in-training program, being committed to the kids and being a good example is important and serves as a gift to the campers. By participating in the program, you will have the opportunity to give back and help create lasting memories.
At the end of the summer, you will have hopefully gained experience and gained skills that you are able to build on or put into action in other life settings beyond camp.
The C.I.T. program serves as a possible stepping stone to future employment at Art Factory.
Please note, we have had a large number of applicants and summer camp positions have been filled.
We will continue to take applicaitons for our fall/winter/spring CIT positions.
