June Art Gallery Spotlight - Alicia Clayton Vidal
Stop in to check out our Art Gallery featuring the work of local artist, Alicia Clayton Vidal, throughout the month of June.
"I have always said that my style of art is no particular style.
I have been creating art since I was old enough to hold a “pinkle”. My first love is painting-- oil, gouache, watercolor and acrylic.
Through the years, I have learned many crafts as well. Crewel embroidery, bookbinding, making floor cloths, woodcarving, weaving, quilting, and making paints from rocks, minerals, and plants.
My work has been on display and sold at The Occasion of the Arts in Williamsburg, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, the Gallery at First UU in Richmond and the Brandermill Art Gallery & Gifts.
I am a life-long resident of Chesterfield and have lived in Brandermill for the last 36 years.
I want to thank Tal for asking me to be a part of the Art Factory’s Gallery wall.
